Isles of Terra is a much-improved sequel to the already great Might and Magic series. The interface has been improved to help you control the game more easily. The graphics and sound, obviously, have been boosted, especially since this was ported to SNES rather than NES.

Once again your mission is to assemble a team of heroes to adventure through the land, defeating hordes of monsters along the way, and finally save the known world from impending doom. As always there are many interesting plot twists, puzzles, and side-quests to solve on your path to the final confrontation.

Gates to Another World is the sequel to Might and Magic: Secret of the Inner Sanctum. There are many improvements over the first edition of this series. Of course, the graphics and sound have been updated. Also there is a more structured story, with a plot you can actually follow. Fortunately, it's not too structured, as some RPGs have been. There is still plenty of room for you to explore and figure out what to do, and many of the quests can be completed in whatever order you decide is best.

So get ready to create your characters, build your party, and fight some nasty critters. Unravel the mystery and save the world of Cron once again.

Taking a new turn away from the rest of the series, Heroes of Might and Magic is more a strategy game than an RPG. Starting out with a small kingdom, recruit soldiers to defend yourself and conquer new territory. There are a wide variety of army types to choose from, as well as resources to find such as gold and artifacts. Build buildings and other improvements to strengthen your city. Finally, destroy all your enemies and become King of the World!

Might and Magic: Secret of the Inner Sanctum (NES)
Might and Magic is your basic RPG dungeon crawler. Your sole purpose is to uncover the Secret of the Inner Sanctum... whatever that is. Really, your sole purpose is to run around killing monsters and gaining levels. There seem to be little or no plot points to guide you or indicate your progress through the game.

That's not to say it isn't a great game. For those of us who like this sort of thing, Might and Magic gives us just what we want. Classic Dungeons and Dragons style stats and combat, lots of exploring to do, and plenty of monsters to run into all the while. The graphics are pretty good, if a bit basic. The monsters are somewhat recognizable, although there are more monsters than there are different images to distinguish them. Overall, a good game of its kind, and Might and Magic was one of the originals, and started quite a strong series. if you're not too worried about absence of plot, give this dungeon crawler a try.

Ever since the days of the Commodore 64, people have loved to play Might and Magic. Might and Magic has come up a long way since then, but the principle is still the same: find the bad guys and hack them up. Warriors of Might and Magic is no different, with the exception of better graphics than the old C64. Warriors of Might and Magic is centered around Alleron, a brave and noble warrior who has been wrongly accused of a horrific crime. To clear his name, Alleron must seek out a mysterious woman named Daria, the only soul who can prove his innocence. Many great adventures stand between Alleron and Daria, but this alone will not stop our brave warrior. With this we wish you good luck and may might and magic be on your side.
