![]() It's simple: The D-PAD to place your blocks, and A or B to change their positions. Nothing more. Graphics: 3 It's nothing too special, but it doesn't matter. It's quite colorful though. Animation: 5 Excellent animation. Music: 5 One of the very few times I'm going to say "hey I liked that tune!". The Atropos theme is my favourite. Sound FX: 3 Nothing too special, but accurately taken from the arcade version. Plot: 1 The time setting does not really make sense. Oh but who cares, as long as the game is fun. Difficulity: 5 It's not easy at all, believe me. In fact I find this harder to master than Tetris. If it's too hard for you, you can always go to the "menu" mode and change the class setting to "Novice", so that's you'll get only 4 colors instead of 6. Replay Value: 5 WARNING: You'll DEFINITELY lose the track of time when you play this highly addictive game. And the 2-player mode won't help you to put it down. Over All: 4.5 A GREAT puzzle-type game from Sega ! A lot of people have compared it to Tetris. I find it a little different, but just as addictive. Here, instead of having to form complete lines, you have to get at least 3 blocks of the same color in line (vertically, horizontally, or diagonally). The Genesis version gives you not only the arcade version, you also get a 3-minute time-trial version and "Flash Columns", a mode in which you have to remove one block in particular, in the shortest time possible. I'm still trying to complete this mode in "Pro" class with height 9. If you love puzzle games, jump on this one. |
