Save the world! Wait, that's every video game story, isn't it? For the sake of uniqueness, save the whales! There's whales in the ocean or something, probably. Ehh, save the world.

You start the game with a brief synopsis of the Final Fantasy world, as seen in the screenshots. When you're done salivating over the awe inspiring power of the ORB, you go directly to a start screen that immediately gives you your choice of 6 different classes, which include, Fighter, Thief, Black Belt, Red Mage, White Mage, or Black Mage. Your decision is based entirely on what style you may play the game and what you're into; personally, I like to blow things up.
After you've selected your party, its off to the most feature rich game of its time, which starts on an island town/castle named Coneria and ends in... Well, you'll just have to figure that one out yourself! I can tell you, however, that the story will grab you right off, so be sure to stock many-a-can of your favored caffeinated drink and perhaps a custom built toilet chair, because once you start, you're not going to want to get up.
